Who Needs Nails?

With college a year away, I am more excited now than I have ever been to go off to school. Getting to know new people and exploring new surroundings while receiving an education focusing on things that grab my attention makes surviving my senior year that much less bearable. I especially cannot wait to decorate my dorm room!

The summer before my freshman year of high school, Lilly Pulitzer teamed up with Garnet Hill to have a Dream Dorm Room contest on Pinterest. The winner received a $500 shopping spree. No, I didn’t win the contest, but I did win an addiction to Pinterest and planning my future dorm room. I always wondered what theme I’d go with, what colors my bedding would be, sequins or pearls. I have dreaded the white cinderblock walls that will be making an appearance in my near future until I stumbled upon this company…

At one point in our lives, we all used some sort of wall decal stickers to decorate our bedrooms. You could swap out your Disney Princess wall stickers for My Little Pony in a second! Such a simple idea that left no residue or damage behind on your walls. Imagine taking the same technology and combining it with your most treasured photographs. Sounds like a no brainer right? Wouldn’t it be nice if someone would invent such a thing? Well… is the answer to my prayers! I cannot believe it has taken someone this long to think of such a genius idea! You simply go to their website, create an account, upload your pictures, select a size, and order! In a few days your removable pictures stickers will appear on your door step ready to be put on display in your home- nail free! You can even get your finished product shipped to your dorm room where it can be used to hide those tragic cinderblock walls.

Check out how perfect the removable and nail-free pictures look above a bed!
