Unfortunately, it’s not just hot water and harsh cleaners that can cause irritation – The weather can also be quite damaging. Both hot and cold climates can strip the moisture from your skin, leaving it dry and itchy. With that in mind, it’s best to limit your exposure to excessive sun, cold, and wind. You should also make sure you wear sunscreen whenever you leave the house.

It doesn’t matter whether you shower first thing in the morning or last thing at night, you need to ensure that you moisturize your skin as soon as you finish. This process is especially important when you’ve been out during harsh weather, as this often leaves your skin feeling dry and irritated.

For this reason, you need to ensure that you get enough rest each night. Most people require around eight hours of sleep, but it’s vital that your sleep quality is also improved. You can do this by limiting your caffeine intake and exercising on a daily basis.
