Ballet Flats As Good As Gold

When it comes to footwear, I am as picky as the next girl. And when it comes to flats, oh boy. I turn into shoe-zilla (can that be a thing?)!

I have always had a love/hate relationship with ballet flats. They have to be comfortable, not too shiny and the perfect shape (I am a big fan of rounded toes!). They must have a decent amount of arch support and soft leather to avoid blisters.  After months of searching for the perfect gold flat, I was convinced I had found my newest go-to accessory that matched my requirements.

Last Christmas, my parents bought me the super pricey gold flats I was dying to have. After wearing them once, my feet were dying to be set free!! The expensive flats were a bust. My heart was broken and my feet were blistered.

One afternoon I wandered over to the shoe department  in my local  Belk. I wasn’t hoping to find anything, I was just looking to pass time. I walked passed a display of Luck Brand flat when something shinny gold caught my eye.  They looked uber familiar to the expensive flats I had just received for Christmas.  I proceeded to squeeze the bottom of the shoe (hey, that’s the easiest way to tell if they are comfy enough to try on!)  before asking to see the flats in my size. From the moment I slipped this pair on my feet, I knew. I knew that I found the most perfect gold flats. They are comfy, they are cute, they can be dressed up or down, they are just the right shade of gold and they hold up well! I have worn the shoes through mud and rain and have wiped them clean!  I finally found a ballet flat as good as gold.

The best part? I can purchase 5 pairs of these flats for the price of the  expensive gold flats I received for Christmas.

Oh Lucky Brand, how I have fallen in love with you! Check out the other fun colors these great flats come in!
